Another, "Does she want to date me?" question?

Ok so a friend of mine has been more and more affectionate towards me lately. She'll tickle me then laugh a little cause I'm ticklish and she'll smile really cutely. When I look in her eyes she smile at me. She's been spending excessive amounts of time with me lately and sometimes will sit or stand really close to me. When we're alone and she hugs me she'll put her head on my neck and get really close. Of course you're thinking, "duh! She likes you!" But here's the thing, even though she's close to me sometimes, sometimes she doesn't want to hug me or something. She talks to me about guys she likes and stuff like that. One time she basically told me that she doesn't date her friends (it's a long story how she said that but I didn't ask her out). So I'm confused, should I ask her out? I'm not sure if she likes me cause there's signs that she does, and signs that she doesn't. What should I do?
