Did anyone see the english footballer on Sky gone fighting in Libya?

who was he and does he have any brains? he is obviously from libya but he didnt seem to have a clue what he was talking about or fighting for, he was totally, like, shocked that a leader could kill his own people, and he didnt know anything.
