Why does yahoo use bots to ask questions?

i have had a a fairly inactive account for the last year. Yet, in my inbox i have received emails to questions that I know I have never asked, nor would ever ask. I got repsonses saying I should have been logged on to get my 3 points for picking a best answer. I sell internet for a living, and always reccomend yahoo as the best free service, but using an inactive account to ask made up questions, so that people answer them, who are not responding to real person is kind of cheesy. sorry yahoo, but I feel violated.
