I have alot of cough problem .i have cougb deposited al th time even whn i don't have cold?

its been 9-10 months tht i have this cough deposition problem . i have to spit cough all th time.i hv alot of problem in sleeping also because of cough.i started drinking luke warm water bt it didn't help
