Macbook for Journalism Major?

That is plenty powerful to run photoshop. The processor is very fast. You could always use more ram but you can upgrade that at anytime and 2gb can definitly run CS2 or 3. You might want to pop for a larger hard drive incase you have to store video clips of your work but 160 is ok to start out with. For college you definitly don't need to go pro.
