Does occasionally smoking weed affect ual performance?

I'm 17, and I occasionally get stoned, maybe once a week on average. I've heard from a few sources that getting high alot affects one's ability to be hard, but it's usually the burnout-esque stoner with this issue. So, if I were to smoke a few (2-3) days before my girlfriend and I were to have , what should I expect?
