Praline candy recipe from 1944 please (war time substitutions!)?

I am sorry that I can't answer your question But I can tell you that I know how you feel.There are so many things that I ate at my grandmothers when I was a small child that I can't find tell same recipes for today.I only wish someone had wrote those down many years ago.I have started writing my family favorites down so in the future they will still be able to make them.I hope that you find the recipe you are looking for.You may can try to ask some of the older people that you know if they have any idea how to make them,this is the only help I can offer you.
